Applications are now open for the second tranche of the Jamaica Business Development Corporation’s (JBDC) Accelerator Programme. The programme is a six-month intensive training programme of accelerated growth for high potential entrepreneurial ventures. It provides Market Development, Access to Capital, Talent Development and Connectivity for participants.
The first phase which was completed in December 2017 saw sixteen entrepreneurs from varying sectors including information technology, alternative energy, agro-processing, and food establishments, among others enlisting for the programme.

Entrepreneurs interested in participating in the second cohort of the programme must fulfill the following eligibility requirements in order to apply:
1. Startups/Existing businesses with high interest in innovation and commitment to entrepreneurship
2. Growing Market Base – Market Competitiveness – Ability to scale quickly
3. Evidence of traction – Export Potential
4. Entrepreneurial Aptitude/Team Experience
5. Employment Potential
