The Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC) recently hosted the Closing Ceremony for Cohort 4 of the Accelerator Programme at the AC Marriot Hotel in Kingston. The event saw participants receiving special prizes for their involvement in the programme as well as being given a chance to showcase their product or service in the Demo Day exhibition feature of the day’s proceedings.
The programme is a six-month intensive which covered six modules including: Strategy Development, Financial Management, Marketing & Sales, Operational Improvement, Digital Transformation, and Business Valuation. This year’s programme was done in partnership with the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ) to deliver Cohort 4 of the programme to 60 participants at a cost of J$60 million.
