Suzette Campbell

SUZETTE CAMPBELL is an acclaimed writer and award-winning Journalist who prior to her sojourn at the JBDC, received several national journalism awards from the Press Association of Jamaica. She was also recognised by the Public Relations Society of Jamaica (PRSJ) for the successful launch of the Early Childhood Commission in Jamaica.

Currently the JBDC’s Corporate Communications Manager, Suzette is responsible for creating and managing a strategic communications and public relations programme that promotes and positions the JBDC brand, its products, services, milestones and achievements.

A graduate of the University of the West Indies, Suzette attained a Master of Arts in English Language (with Distinction) recently to add to the Bachelor of Arts which she received in Media & Communications (Honours) in 2002.

She recognises the rebranding and positioning of JBDC as the government’s premier provider of business development services as one of her single, major achievements during the past seven years.

As she moves forward, her vision is to see JBDC recognised by entrepreneurs as thought leaders within the MSME ecosystem. This, she believes, will be achieved through constant innovative communication strategies which will bring the best minds together in one space for an unmatched learning experience.
