SHELLY-ANN LAWSON-FRANCIS on her return as Special Projects Manager in 2020 and through her leadership efforts, has successfully guided the organisation through its ISO journey to now being recommended for ISO certification in 2022.

The holder of the double degrees in History and Political Theory from the University of the West Indies is very much a team-oriented individual who believes that nothing is achieved in oneself only.

It is this mantra that guides the way she conducts her daily responsibilities which include select Executive Office priority areas and cross-departmental initiatives such as digital transformation, intellectual property, cultural and creative industries ecosystem and the organisation’s quality management system.

Her vision is to see that organisation-wide initiatives that affect the effectiveness of the JBDC are executed in a way that delivers high-quality business development services to our clients.
