Michele Cowan

MICHELE COWAN, FCA, FCCA has served as Finance Manager of Jamaica Business Development Corporation for the past seventeen (17) years. She is a qualified Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).

Her primary role as Finance Manager is to oversee the financial health of the organisation and help ensure its continued viability. One of her major achievements during her tenure is the establishment and continued monitoring of internal controls thus mitigating any financial loss that may affect the organisation.

Michele and her team recognise that the success of the organisation in the achievement of its goals largely depends on the efficient management of its finances. This recognition has led to the firm commitment of her team to ensure that this is achieved.
