ANDREW ELLIS is the IT Manager at the Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC).

An Information and Communication Technology (ICT) professional with more than 15 years experience, his expertise spans network administration, systems management, infrastructure deployment and technical support. His role at JBDC includes leading the administration and support of enterprise IT infrastructure across multiple locations throughout Jamaica.

Throughout his career, Andrew has developed extensive expertise in designing, implementing and managing secure, scalable network environments. His areas of specialisation include wide area networks (WANs), network security, data backup and recovery, virtualisation, cloud and Microsoft technologies, remote access solutions and enterprise systems administration.

He has also successfully led a range of infrastructure and technology initiatives, including network deployments, VPN implementations, server administration, business continuity projects and technology modernisation programmes.

Andrew’s experience combines technical expertise with a strong focus on building reliable, secure and efficient technology environments that support organisational operations and growth.
