JBDC Webinar series for MSMEs
The Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC) is seeking to continue its move to implement robust training programmes for entrepreneurs in the Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise (MSME) sector. The organisation launched a weekly webinar series dubbed JBDC VIRTUAL BIZ ZONE.
"Despite the threat of COVID-19, we are determined to follow through on our mandate to lead the development of MSMEs. Training is critical to the growth and survival of businesses and the government's MSME & Entrepreneurship Policy highlights that. The team at JBDC has been very dedicated and creative while working from home and they have come up with a stellar line-up of courses for our audience. I urge our clients and other entrepreneurs to make use of this opportunity, as it is free of charge," explained Valerie Veira, Chief Executive Officer of JBDC.
The webinars will be presented by JBDC's business development experts, as well as select partners from other public and private sector entities. "We will cover a range of topics including business planning, financing, marketing, product development, research, among others," Miss Veira added.
All webinars in the series will be hosted via the Zoom platform every Tuesday. Interested persons are required to register to participate.
