It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas! The inaugural DIY: A Creative Entrepreneurship Experience offers DIY enthusiasts and entrepreneurs an opportunity to acquire a new skill in an intense one-day workshop.
Participants will learn how to use fabric and recycled material to produce home décor and gift items including cushion covers, placemats, napkins, table runners, centrepieces and wall accents. For those who love the kitchen, there is an element which includes the preparation of jams and jellies using mainly sorrel.
Facilitators include a team of experts from the JBDC, which means they get first-hand advice on how DIY can become a legitimate business. This exciting event takes place on Saturday, November 23, 2019, between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
